Life with us

Both the Assisted Living and Retirement Living elements of the proposed scheme are specifically designed to meet the needs of older people in later life.

They offer residents an active, independent lifestyle in a safe and secure environment among like-minded people. Both the Assisted Living and Later Living apartments feature a high specification of communal and shared facilities to address residents’ everyday needs.
The Retirement Living apartments
The Retirement Living apartments can only be occupied by people over 60 years of age, although the average age of residents upon purchase is 78.
The Retirement Living apartments include a residents’ lounge, laundry and refuse room, lift, a camera entry system linked to residents’ TVs and a guest suite allowing for friends and
relatives to stay overnight when needed.
The Assisted Living apartments
The Assisted Living apartments can be occupied by people over 70 years of age, although the average age upon purchase is 83. The Assisted Living apartments offer residents a home for life regardless to changes to their care needs. The careful design of the apartments mean that nearly all the support needs of residents can be met within the scheme.
The Assisted Living apartments include a full service restaurant and dining room with on-site catering 365 days a year. There is also a function room, residents’ lounge, laundry and refuse rooms, lifts, a camera entry system linked to residents’ TVs and a guest suite allowing for friends and relatives to stay overnight when needed.
The majority of residents entering either the Assisted Living or Later Living developments live in the existing area, with sales statistics showing that our typical resident moves from
within seven miles.
Residents of both the Assisted Living and Later Living developments have their own front doors and privacy just as they did in their previous family homes. They are free to join in community activities within the scheme or to pursue their own interests as they please, but with the comfort that help and support is on hand.
